Emmy Trinh always knew her vocation lay in the creative industry. “As a kid, I remember telling my friends that I wanted to run a company and I was going to be the ‘creator’ of that company,” she said. Although she was always drawn to art and design, she opted for the “pragmatic route” and majored in business in school. When family reasons prompted her to take some time off, so arose the opportunity to reflect on the question, “What do I want to be when I grow up?”. Before long, her artistic passion started tugging at her once again. When she found herself in a New York bead shop enamored with a blue agate stone, she asked the storeowner what else was needed to make a necklace. “The foundation for Emmy Trinh Jewelry all started from that piece!” she said.
