Meera Lee Patel
Meera Lee Patel spent her childhood playing in the nearby Cherry Blossom trees until she was old enough to draw them. Today, her vibrant illustrations—found on pillows, prints and tea towels—add a little bit of magic to the everyday. The cheerful, standout color palette is inspired by both her hometown (she was raised by the New Jersey shore) and her mother (a gifted seamstress, knitter and all-around creative soul).
LUCKY ELEPHANT PRINT
"I can"t stop creating because I dont know how." Often, Meera Lees design ideas come to her subconsciouslyin a dream or an abrupt thoughtand she proceeds in an organic, trial-and-error way.
