WENWEN designs was created with the vision of making jewelry from sustainable and renewable materials. Based in San Francisco, designer/maker Frances Chang draws inspiration from graphic shapes and pattern, creating pieces that are intricate, sophisticated, and unexpected. Combining Frances' skills acquired during her years as an art director in the digital space with the crafting techniques she learned from metalsmiths, each original design is drafted on the computer, honed with a laser cutter, and then finally polished and pieced by hand, by Frances herself.
