With a degree in graphic design, it should come as no surprise that this maker likes to doodle. In fact, it’s Olivia’s doodles that got her where she is today — making quirky and cut silk-screened accessories, prints and baby onesies. Falling in love with letterpress printing, the first item Olivia ever sold was a Mother’s Day card. Sure, it was to her friends but that only ignited her desire to share her designs with a wider audience. Through an intricate (and fun!) process, this New-Orleans-born-Chicago-based designer, mother and wife turns her doodles and sketches into Spring Olive’s stunning selection of hand-printed wares. Making is now just a part of who Olivia is. No surprises there.
