In 2008, Nick and Kimber Christensen began creating hand-made developmental toys and blocks in their workshop in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. "Our goal is to help young children develop pattern recognition and fine motor skills," says Nick. "However, the most important toy any child can have is his or her caregiver. For this reason, our educational toys are most effective with interactive play." Any given day at the Little Sapling workshop you'll find Nick and Kimber working and their children playing with their parents' inspired creations.
"We are committed to quality toys and a healthy earth," says Kimber. "We plant a tree for every toy sold, use FSC Certified hardwoods, use recycled content packaging, and participate in our local green power program."
