Sometimes it takes a little push to follow your passion. Such was the case with Kiana, the artist behind this collection of vivid, abstract prints. “I finally gained the confidence to take the leap,” she says, “after a few rounds with my inner-voice about why I shouldn’t be pursuing art full time. I won!” Growing up, Kiana was surrounded by artists: Her father was a painter, while her uncles were illustrators and designers. Mostly self-taught, she then enrolled at Oregon State for graphic design, opened an online shop after a nudge from her cousin, and now spends her days creating vivid watercolor originals (available here as fine art prints).
