Valentine's Day Craft Idea #2: Handmade Envelopes
Use brown kraft paper and pretty scrapbooking paper to make your own envelopes. Add cut-out shapes for more individualized design.
- Kraft paper
- Perforated scissors (optional)
- Pretty scrapbooking paper
- Glue stick
- Marker or pencil

Cut out a piece of kraft paper with four equal-sized flaps. If desired, carefully cut out a heart shape in the middle of the "square" part of the paper.

Choose your favorite sheets of pretty scrapbooking paper and draw the outline of the envelope pattern onto it.

Step 3 + Step 4 + Step 5[/caption]
Cut out the shape 1/4" in from the line (or use a pair of perforated scissors just under the drawn line).
Glue the cutout scrapbooking paper to the inside of the envelope pattern.
Fold in the three "bottom" sides of the envelope and glue down.

Seal the back flap with glue and a felt heart, ribbon or whatever flare you decided to use as decoration.
