Kelly Lanza's DIY Glitter Heart Toppers[/caption]
I can't get enough sparkle this Valentine's Day season, and I find myself adding glitter to everything! Here's a super quick and easy way to make fun 3-D heart cake toppers that give a little shine to any sweet treat. And Valentine's Day should be filled with a lot of sweet treats!

What you'll need to make your own Glitter Heart Toppers for Valentine's Day.[/caption]
- Smoothfoam Hearts
- Mod Podge
- Paint brush

Insert a skewer into the bottom of your heart.

Cover the heart in an even coat of Mod Podge.

Sprinkle with glitter until fully covered. Shake off excess and let dry.
Once dry, add a second coat of Mod Podge on top of the glitter. This will seal the glitter on which is very important when using it near food!
